Summary

  • ASICS Novalis Season 3, led by Kiko Kostadinov, features new GEL-STYRAX mules, knitwear, and retro-inspired apparel with distinct patterns and contrast stitching.
  • The collection, which celebrates a hands-on approach to creative work, is available now at Kiko Kostadinov’s webstore and flagship stores.

The Kiko Kostadinov-led ASICS Novalis label presents its third season for FW25, showcasing a distinct mix of technicolor intarsia patterns and contrast-stitched garments. The new collection evolves the line’s core principles of utility, performance-level comfort, and Kostadinov’s stylistic edge through innovative cuts and a playful use of pattern and color.

Standing out are the new ASICS Novalis GEL-STYRAX, in two new colorways and adorned with a geometric diamond pattern. The mule-style sneaker is available now via Kiko Kostadinov’s site, and is expected to drop on September 25 for $250 USD via the Asics webstore. The original model is inspired by the TRANSCEND series, rooted in the idea of training in nature, and boasts graphics from ASICS retro shirts across the entire upper. Elongated Tiger Stripes create a feeling of forward motion and cut-out panels expose a check lattice underlay. Underfoot, FF BLAST™ PLUS cushioning and a TRUSSTIC™ heel unit provide comfortable stability.

Elsewhere, new knitwear accessories accompany a range of co-branded caps. Fingerless gloves and knitted beanies follow the diamond shape patterns found on the GEL STYRAX in a mixture of Autumnal hues like orange, brown, gray, green, and blue. In apparel, sweatshirts with visible stitches, piping, and intarsia collars evoke the 1990s in their cool-toned colorways and retro design details.

The campaign, shot by Jason Evans, documents craftspeople, makers, and artists in their studios across London and the southeast of England, where Kostadinov finds his roots. The portraits, which feature ceramicist Vivien Lee, artist Xavier Leopold, accessories designer Raiheth Rawla, puppet maker Ash Appadu, and stained glass artist Claire Orme, highlight the unique environments and labor involved in their respective specialties.

The first installment of ASICS Novalis Season 3 is available on the Kiko Kostadinov webshop and at flagship stores in Los Angeles and Tokyo now.
