Update: Sabrina Ionescu is a WNBA All-Star for the fourth season in a row. The young guard continues to make noise for the New York Liberty as the team remains one of the league’s top contenders after winning the WNBA Finals last year. Helping her achieve these heights is her signature shoe line with Nike Basketball, which is now set to expand once again with the introduction of the Nike Sabrina 3.

Previewed previously in April below, we now have a complete idea of what to expect from the new sneaker. Ionescu’s Romanian roots inform the upper’s textile weaving and embroidery. This combines with mesh pleats that not only contribute stylistically, but host the midfoot’s cable system for containment. As for the sole design, Ionescu’s classic combination of a forefoot Air Zoom unit and Cushlon 3.0 foam at the midsole makes a return for the third time. Additional design considerations include the return of her vertical Swoosh, which nods to the metaphorical glass ceilings she continues to shatter in her ascent.

The Nike Sabrina 3 is set to launch in this “Blueprint” colorway that places golden Swooshes atop a light blue backdrop. Its release is scheduled for July 14 via Nike and select retailers worldwide at a starting price of $135 USD. Joining the sneaker is an apparel range that features Dri-FIT designs — a hoodie, full-zip sweatshirt, pant, reversible short, top, and T-shirts.

Original Story: Sabrina Ionescu had an incredible 2024, winning the WNBA Finals with the New York Liberty and successfully launching the Nike Sabrina 2, her second signature shoe. Both of her models to date have been hits, embraced by everyone from young hoopers to professionals. Now, her and Nike Basketball are looking to continue with this momentum as they prepare the Nike Sabrina 3 to launch later this year.

While the project has been kept under wraps, a first look at the sneaker has leaked via the social post that is embedded below. This early preview sees the Sabrina 3 in its lead “Blueprint” look, a colorway that features various blue hues scattered throughout the upper accompanied by striking gold detailing at the Swooshes, which are present at the lateral midfoot and rear of the medial. While we lack any confirmation of its technical specifications, several details are made apparent. It remains in the low-cut form of its predecessors, sticking to the slim shape of the Sabrina 1 and 2 while a new cable system is present at the midfoot. The heel of this pair also sees an “i” present.

At the time of writing, neither Sabrina Ionescu nor Nike Basketball have officially presented the Sabrina 3. Stay tuned for updates, including official images of the kicks, and look out for it to arrive in this “Blueprint” colorway on July 10 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $130 USD.
