Summary

  • Japanese label DIGAWEL’s FW25 collection, dubbed “Creative Class Uniform,” blends traditional prep, workwear, and loungewear influences, reinterpreting archival inspirations for daily wear.
  • The collection features eclectic styling, including formal pieces paired with casual accessories, and includes collaborations with BODHI on cashmere knitwear and F/CE on a down-filled nylon puffer.

For its FW25 collection, Japanese label DIGAWEL proposes a “Creative Class Uniform,” borrowing influences from various realms including traditional prep, workwear, and easy loungewear.

DIGAWEL shared that “the collection was inspired by a reconsideration of the scrapbooks we have accumulated over the years.” Through this lens, the brand reconstructed its archival inspirations with “matured interpretation,” modernizing and improving upon classic styles and the brand’s earlier concepts. “We have thoroughly addressed the question of what kind of clothing is the brand’s goal, which is to accompany you in your daily life,” the brand added.

DIGAWEL’s latest lookbook reflects this eclectic approach, combining pieces into timeless numbers that balance formality with casualness, and elegance with utility. The first look is a fitting introduction to the range, led by a classic tan overcoat, baggy brown trousers, and a blue dress shirt, accented with a retro dad cap and red Pumas. Elsewhere, a two-piece check suit is paired with a baseball cap and black leather dress shoe, leaning into the Ivy sensibilities found throughout.

The brand continues its collaboration with BODHI this season to offer a sweater and trousers using luxurious 100% cashmere knitted into a delicate 18-gauge knitted fabric. Additionally, a nylon puffer coat made in collaboration with F/CE boasts a rounded silhouette packed with added down.
