The official trailer for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc has dropped, offering fans a glimpse into the much-anticipated cinematic continuation of the anime.
Produced by MAPPA and directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, the film adapts the explosive “Bomb Girl” arc from Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga, continuing the story from where season one left off. The trailer teases a dramatic shift in tone, blending high-stakes action with emotional tension as Denji encounters Reze, a mysterious café worker whose presence upends his world.
The trailer also revealed a new theme song, “IRIS OUT,” produced and performed by Kenshi Yonezu. This marks Yonezu’s second contribution to Chainsaw Man following the popular opening theme song, “KICK BACK,” for the TV anime. Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is set to premiere in Japanese theaters on September 19.
An international release date has also been confirmed as Sony Pictures Entertainment has acquired the worldwide theatrical rights. The film will open in the U.S. and U.K. on October 29, 2025.
