Watch Models Compete to Walk in Telfar's Next Fashion Show

Original Story (June 18): Telfar is staging a grand 20th-anniversary fashion show in New York City this weekend, and Mr. Clemens himself is allowing you to choose who gets to swagger down his runway.
Enter New Models, the designer’s hour-long special that will follow a cast of contestants through a series of challenges and performances to determine whether or not they have what it takes to be a Telfar muse. After the one-episode show concludes, there will be a live voting broadcast in which you, dear viewer, get to pick who makes the cut for the brand’s runway.

The series is billed as part game show, part media experiment, and it’s the latest addition to TELFARTV, the label’s self-owned public access media platform that launched four years ago.
In ‘New Models,’ Telfar asks, “What is a model? Who gets to be seen — and who gets to decide?” Because, in the designer’s words, “if you want to change what it means to be a model, you have to change the means of modeling.”
‘New Models’ airs on June 18 at 8 p.m. ET on TELFARTV’s microsite, where viewers can engage in live chats and timed voting prompts.
