Update: While Nike Basketball continues to pay homage to Kobe Bryant with re-releases of his signature shoes in Protro form, the Swoosh has been expanding its output of Kobe-themed gear with a wide variety of Air Force 1 Lows. One such look is a “Triple White” pair that we took an initial glance at below at the start of the month. Now, a complete set of imagery highlights what to expect from the pair. A snakeskin-inspired leather upper hosts several mentions to the late superstar, including the inclusion of his Sheath logo at the lateral heel and “8” and “24” nods at the heel tabs. From there, “Mamba Forever” dubraes in silver complete the reference list. We remain without a release date for the pair, however, it is likely to land on shelves this fall via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $130 USD.
Original Story: Kobe Bryant‘s legacy goes on with the Swoosh as fans are given a first look at an upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low release. The classic low-top silhouette receives the Mamba treatment in “Triple White,” giving a clean and crisp look to the everyday sneaker. The shoe is dressed from head-to-toe white and is constructed out of a premium snakeskin-textured leather upper. Continuing to pay tribute to the late basketball legend, his jersey numbers 8 and 24 are stitched in white thread at the heel. The reveal comes after a pair of AF1 Lows appeared in “Court Purple”. Adding to the details is the sublte Kobe Sheath logo stamped on the lateral heels to give it one more nod to the Mamba Mentality. Look out for the pair arriving in the coming months.
