The Nike Kobe 1 Protro to Return Next Year
A new rumor report indicates that its “81 Points” colorway will be one of the first looks featured in its comeback campaign.

Nike Basketball has slowly been bringing back each of Kobe Bryant’s signature shoes, with the Kobe 3 Protro rumored to be the next design to return. While we’ve yet to spot any of its colorways, it is expected that the Kobe 1 Protro will be following it as the next model to make a comeback, according to a new report from zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files.
The first rumored Kobe 1 Protro colorway to be hitting the market is the return of the “81 Points” pair, which celebrated Bryant’s otherworldly 81-point performance against the Toronto Raptors on January 22, 2006. This colorway made a return to the Kobe 1 Protro in 2019, dropping on the game’s 13th anniversary, which may again serve as the launch date as next year marks the historic victory’s 20th anniversary. While we lack a first look at the 2026 version, you can expect it to maintain its black, white, purple, and gold composition.
At the time of writing, the Nike Basketball team has not yet confirmed that the Kobe 1 Protro will be returning to shelves next year.
