Update: The return of the Air Jordan 4 “White Cement” was destined to be one of 2025’s biggest sneaker releases from the moment it was rumored last year. If the blurry in-hand photos that have started to pop up haven’t sold you on grabbing a pair yet, we now have official retailer images detailing the shoe in all of its retro glory. Our previous coverage of the re-release has noted that Jordan Brand is staying true to the original with its color scheme and shape, which has now further been confirmed by these detailed shots. Release remains set for May 24 at a price of $225 USD via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.

Update: Sneakerheads have been looking forward to the return of the Air Jordan 4 “White Cement” since it was rumored last June. We finally got a sneak peek at this year’s version of the OG look at the end of 2024 and now we have our best preview of the shoe yet. As discussed in our previous update below, it stays true to its 1989 roots with “Summit White,” “Fire Red,” “Tech Grey” and “Black” coming together for this familiar finish. Its release remains expected for May 24 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $225 USD.

Update: A first look at the 2025 Air Jordan 4 “White Cement” retro has been revealed after rumors of the classic model’s return began to swirl in June. Though those early reports indicated that the “White Cement” may be coming back in “Reimagined” fashion (just like the Air Jordan 4 “Bred” did this year via a “Bred Reimagined” colorway) it appears as if the retro is a true-blue OG, one that boasts original construction and detailing. Expect a full family size run to release on May 24, with men’s-sized pairs priced at $225 USD, and read the original article below for more info.

Original Story: In celebration of its 35th anniversary, Jordan Brand has kept the Air Jordan 4 in heavy rotation with a constant flow of in-line launches, high-powered collaborations and the upcoming introduction of its first takedown model with the Air Jordan 4 RM. While this year is already set to be a major one for the model, rumors regarding its 2025 launches have already brewed up excitement. In-line launches are said to include a “Seafoam” pair, a “Rare Air Laser” release and even a Nigel Sylvester collaboration in “Firewood Orange.”

Now, the latest rumor to hit the net courtesy of Elden Monitors and House of Heat is pointing towards the return of the OG “White Cement” colorway next year. First released in 1989 and then revisited in 1999, 2012 and 2016 (pictured above), it’s about time for the beloved look to be reissued. While details regarding the recreation have not been disclosed just yet, it was noted that it will likely be part of Jordan Brand’s “Reimagined” series — one that puts a unique twist on classic pairs.

At the time of writing, Nike has not confirmed whether or not the “White Cement” iteration of the Air Jordan 4 will be returning next year. However, it remains rumored as a summertime release in 2025 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers around the $215 USD price point. Stay tuned for updates as we await a first look at the pair.
