Name: Air Jordan 1 High OG “Ruby”
Colorway: Varsity Red/White/Black
SKU: FD2596-602
MSRP: $180 USD
Release Date: May 22
Where to Buy: Nike

Update: We spotted this new “Ruby” colorway of the Air Jordan 1 High OG earlier this month and now have a more complete set of visuals to analyze. As discussed previously, the silhouette’s “Bred Toe” colorway has been remixed as a special shiny texture is present at the “Varsity Red” detailing and the Wings logo is a separate piece that has been attached to the collar. Release remains set to take place on May 22 in women’s sizing via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $180 USD. For more info about the pair, review our initial breakdown below.

Original Story: While Jordan Brand is gearing up for not only the release of the Air Jordan 1 Hi ‘85 “Bred,” but the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Black Toe Reimagined” drops taking place this week, it has plenty more on the way for the silhouette’s 40th anniversary celebration.

The latest new look to be added to this year’s hefty slate of Air Jordan 1 releases is the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Ruby.” This new women’s-exclusive colorway revisits the “Bred Toe” color blocking as white hits the midfoot of the leather upper and black covers the Swooshes, Wings logo, the base of the collar and the forefoot overlays. “Varsity Red” appears with a textured “Ruby” finish at the collar overlay, heel counter and toe box. From there, a white stitched midsole and red rubber outsole complete this initial preview of the pair.

At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has not yet indicated when this “Ruby” colorway of the Air Jordan 1 High OG will be releasing. Stay tuned for updates, including official images of the kicks, as we currently expect this new take on the AJ1 to drop at a price of $180 USD on May 22 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers in women’s sizing.
