The Swoosh has shared its set of official images, confirming that all of the 2015 version’s details remain intact. Update: We’re just two weeks away from the return of the Nike Kobe 9 Elite Protro “What The” and only just now have early images of the pair been shared. Vanessa Bryant’s latest unveiling of Kobe sneakers features the shoe, confirming that it will stay true to its 2015 predecessor. Look out for it to join the Kobe 8 Protro “What The” on shelves on April 13 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price point of $300 USD.

Original Story: Nike Basketball celebrated Kobe Day this past weekend by not only introducing the Nike Kobe 9 Elite in Protro form with its “Halo” colorway, but by restocking several sought-after styles as well. Several additional releases featuring the silhouette are anticipated for the next year, including the return of the “Christmas” pair this holiday season.
Adding to the list of rumored releases, we now have information supporting the rumor that the “What The” colorway of the Kobe 9 Elite Protro will be releasing next year. Initially, EldenMonitors shared that it’s likely to return and now Sneaker Market RO has further supported the rumor’s legitimacy with info regarding its kid’s sizing. The multicolored makeover first released back in 2015 (pictured above) and is expected to sport the same look for its 10th anniversary next year.
At the time of writing, Nike has not yet confirmed that the Kobe 9 Elite Protro will be arriving in its “What The” form next year. Stay tuned for updates, including a first look at the colorway, as we currently expect it to drop alongside its Kobe 8 Protro counterpart next April via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
