Nike Kobe 9 Elite "What The"

Just recently we saw a preview into Nike‘s latest iteration of the “What The” concept, showing itself on the third all-time NBA scoring leader, Kobe Bryant and his Kobe 9 Elite. In a quick follow-up, the shoe in its entirety has been unveiled. Taking the concept of mixing and matching colorways generally deemed to be purposefully brash and of high-contrast, this particular iteration — which has spanned more than just Nike Basketball offerings — is featured in a mash-up of previous Kobe 9 Elite colorways in a relatively cohesive package. The usual Flyknit upper features reflective hits, a speckled midsole, and a print mélange within the inner collar. A release is set for Saturday, January 10 at 8 a.m. EST via Nike.com.
