Focus Features has confirmed the release dates for Yorgos Lanthimos’s upcoming film, Bugonia. The film will premiere in a limited engagement on October 24, with screenings across select locations in New York and LA. A wider theatrical release will follow on October 31.

As revealed in a previous announcement, Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias and Alicia Silverstone have been confirmed as the key cast. The screenplay is written by Will Tracy, known for his work on The Menu and Succession.

Shot in VistaVision, the film promises a visually striking cinematic experience. It follows two conspiracy-driven young men who kidnap a high-powered CEO, convinced she is an alien intent on destroying Earth.
