Dingyun Zhang has continued to ascend the ranks of the fashion industry — a trajectory we previously inspected in Hypebeast Magazine Issue 33: The Systems Issue. The CSM graduate and YEEZY alum has continued to experiment with footwear by teaming up with adidas and Crocs last year. The latter partnership has just carried on as Zhang and Crocs just dropped the Diffuser in two new colorways.
Presented in all-white at the end of 2024, the sports car-inspired Crocs Diffuser is back in “Sapphire” and “Black Sand.” The former sees the wavy silhouette covered in a gradient that begins in gray at its front and back, transitioning to blue and purple towards the center. As for its “Black Sand” counterpart, an all-black finish covers the slip-on in its entirety. Both pairs feature co-branding at the cushioned footbed to complete the design.
