Chinese designer Dingyun Zhang has quickly found success within the fashion industry, graduating from CSM, working as part of the YEEZY team and establishing his eponymous label. Hot off of footwear projects with adidas, Zhang has teamed up with Crocs to introduce a new silhouette — the Crocs Diffuser.
Teased previously within Zhang’s “SCAR:city” collection, he noted that the slip-on draws inspiration from aerodynamic sports cars with its streamlined design also nodding to Crocs’ archival Swiftwater Sandal style. Crocs’ signature holes appear at the toe while a strap-like structure wraps around the midfoot and heel. Its sculpted sole unit elevates the wearer with its lofty stature that is absent of branding elements throughout its all-white presentation.
Release for Dingyun Zhang’s all-white Crocs Diffuser is set to take place on December 12 via Dingyun Zhang’s webstore and Crocs at a starting price of $85 USD.
