Sources tell Deadline that Sadie Sink will be making her entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with her role in the upcoming Spider-Man 4.

Many speculate that the Stranger Things star will be taking on the role of X-Men mutant Jean Grey, who was previously portrayed by Sophie Turner and Famke Janssen. However, Deadline suggests that there is always a possibility that she could be breathing life into another version of Mary Jane “MJ” Watson follow the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which saw Tom Holland’s Peter Parker erase his identity from everyone in the world.

There are also reports that Zendaya, who has played MJ (Peter Parker’s love interest) in the past three Spider-Man films, will have a minor role in the fourth installment as her schedule is booked with filming for Euphoria season three and Dune: Messiah. Either way, Sink’s role will be “significant” in the follow up.

Stay tuned for more details.
