PUMA is showing no signs of slowing down – specifically with the momentum on its PUMA Mostro silhouette. On the heels of the release of A$AP Rocky‘s new signature shoe – the PUMA Mostro Disccord, the footwear imprint is once again reimagining the Mostro once again with the help of another esteemed collaborator. In partnership with fashion archivist George Roy Roberts – more commonly known as INSIDE TAG –PUMA has presented what it’s calling the “Ur Mostro Communication Pack.”
The duo delivers two dynamic iterations of the sneaker, offering up “Warm White / Light Straw” and “Haute Coffee / PUMA Black” colorways. While the Mostro was introduced in 1999, the PUMA Mostro Ur was launched in 2004, the Mostro’s creator, UMA designer Peter Schmidt, reworked his original sketches to produce the Ur Mostro. PUMA and INSIDE TAG’s take on the sneaker features a premium leather upper attached to a wide-looped mesh underlay to create a honeycomb-resembling imprint that appears uniquely on each sneaker. Enhanced lugs land on the outsole, aged TPU components and an elongated rear heel tab..
