Original Story: One of the surprise stories in the sneaker space last month came courtesy of Apron Records founder Steven Julien, who unveiled the label’s first sneaker collaboration with Nike. The duo presented their “Dark Atomic Teal” iteration of the Air 180 — a 1991 model that returned to shelves last year — and announced a release date of March 8.

However, there’s a twist — a second “Fossil Rose” version of the shoe has now been unveiled. Similar to its green counterpart, its mixed material upper combines a shaggy base with leather overlays, instead offering it in rich reds. As for its textured Swooshes, they take on a pink that complements the metallic rose detailing found at the heel. Co-branding is visible at the heel, aglets, sockliner and razor-shaped dubrae to complete this special rendition of the sneaker.

At the time of writing, neither Apron Records nor Nike have confirmed if and when this second “Fossil Rose” colorway of the Air 180 will be dropping. Stay tuned for updates as we expect it to arrive on shelves within the next few weeks via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $150 USD.
