Nike is officially bringing the toy box to the sneaker closet. Continuing their incredibly fun and highly creative partnership, Nike and LEGO have just unveiled their latest collaborative drop: a grade school-exclusive Air Max 95. Dubbed the “Lucky Green” colorway, this upcoming release takes the iconic, layered anatomy of the 1995 runner and playfully rebuilds it from the ground up, injecting a massive dose of block-building nostalgia and video-game-inspired energy for young sneakerheads.

While the classic Air Max 95 is famous for its human anatomy-inspired side panels, this LEGO collaboration takes a distinctly more architectural approach. The traditional suede and mesh overlays have been swapped out for a dynamic, broken-up brick pattern that stretches entirely across the upper, mudguard, and midsole. Mixing vibrant “Lucky Green,” “Green Strike,” and solid black blocks accented by signature LEGO-style dots, the sneaker’s aesthetic leans heavily into a pixelated, 8-bit universe. While it isn’t an official Minecraft crossover, the heavy construction-game vibes are impossible to ignore.

Despite the bold pattern, Nike made sure to keep the branding clean and minimal so the design doesn’t feel overly cluttered. A classic red and square LEGO logo sits proudly on the tongue, while a custom Nike x LEGO stamp anchors the heel spine. A sleek Metallic Silver Swoosh on the lateral heel adds just the right amount of flash to the dense green-and-black upper. Looking below the surface, the collaboration sneaks in one final, unexpected pop of color with bright purple accents hidden across the durable rubber outsole.

By perfectly marrying everyday sneaker sensibilities with highly collectible, toy-inspired details, this release proves that the Nike and LEGO partnership is a match made in heaven.
