‘Doraemon’ Takes on the Louvre in New Uniqlo UT Collection
Dropping in late May.

Following Uniqlo’s previous announcement on a sci-fi anime UT collection, the Japanese apparel brand has revealed another exciting collaboration for its iconic graphic T-shirt range. Partnering with the Louvre, Uniqlo’s newest UT capsule collection will feature characters from beloved Doraemon alongside iconic artworks and spots from the world-renowned museum.
Dropping in late May, this UT T-shirt drop comprises four unique graphic imprints against a black, gray, or white colored cotton build. On one white T-shirt, Doraemon and Nobita are depicted standing in front of Leonardo da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa” while holding hands. On the other white T-shirt, we see the blue robotic cat channeling his inner sculptor as he reimagines his friends as winged figures inspired by “The Winged Victory of Samothrace Hellenistic Art.”
On the gray T-shirt, Doraemon showcases his mischievous side as he replaced the subject in Johannes Vermeer’s “The Astronomer.” Meanwhile, a starry depiction of The Louvre at night graces the back of the black T-shirt. The glass pyramid mirrors the sky’s tantalizing gradient, while the palace is presented in a black silhouette form. Upon closer look, the silhouettes of Doraemon and Nobita can be spotted across the starlit night sky.
The aforementioned T-shirts are set to release in late May via Uniqlo, each priced at ¥1,500 JPY (approx. $10 USD).
