A new official trailer for Shinichiro Watanabe’s highly anticipated sci-thriller anime, Lazarus, has finally been unveiled.
Best known for directing the original Cowboy Bebop anime, Watanabe has tapped MAPPA – the acclaimed studio behind Jujustu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man – to animate Lazarus — promising impeccable visuals. The long-awaited trailer offers a glimpse into the slick action sequences, stunning worldbuilding, eccentric characters, all accompanied by a jazz-infused electro soundtrack.
Watch the official English trailer above and check out below for the anime’s Japanese main trailer. Lazarus is set to premiere in Japan as well as Adult Swim’s Toonami on April 6. The episodes will also be available to stream on Max on the following day.
