Snippet of New A$AP Rocky Song Hears Him Reference His Court Trial Fits
Namedropping brands that he supposedly sported while in court.

A snippet of an unreleased song from A$AP Rocky hit the internet this week, and fans are speculating that the track could have been recorded in the recent months due to its lyrical content.
The 22-second teaser hears Rocky rapping in a low-register tone over a Metro Boomin beat, seemingly namedropping brands such as Bottega Veneta, Armani and Prada as brands that he wears to court. “Look like John Gotti in court, your honor/Look like Godfather in court, your honor/Yeah, I got-got that shit on, your honor/Yeah, ’cause I put that shit on, your honor,” he continues. Many suggest that Rocky could be referring to his recent acquittal; he was on trial for two felony counts of assault with a semi automatic firearm and was accused of shooting his former friend, A$AP Relli, on a Hollywood street in 2021. Had he been found guilty, he would have spent 24 years in prison.
While neither Metro nor Rocky have confirmed whether the untitled cut will appear on the latter’s upcoming album DON’T BE DUMB, the anticipation for the record has doubled thanks to the rapper’s recent trial.
