Toro y Moi Taps Kenny Beats for "Daria"
The first in-studio collab from the duo.
Toro y Moi has tapped Kenny Beats on a new single entitled “Daria.” Marking Toro’s first release since Hole Erth, “Daria” arrives in the middle of the multitalented musician’s tour in support of the recent LP.
“Daria,” a jazzy upbeat cut, marks the first official studio collaboration between the duo – something that’s been long awaited since Toro y Moi’s showed out on Beats’ legendary The Cave back in 2022. Clocking in at around two and a half minutes, the song was first recorded over the summer and was initially released exclusively on the Hole Erth Japan exclusive vinyl.
“Last summer we made some beats with Kenny,” Chaz Bear (a.k.a Toro y Moi) explained on Instagram. “Our track ‘Daria,’ originally released as a Hole Erth B-side exclusively in Japan.”
