Stüssy To Reopen New York Chapter Store This Week
Coming back on 50 Prince Street.

Update: Stüssy’s New York Flagship will open its doors this Friday. Ahead of the opening, the brand has revealed a first look inside the new store.
Just like other its regional locations, the soon-to-unveil Stüssy New York Chapter is conceptualized with the help of Willo Perron from Perron-Roettinger — the design studio responsible for the brand’s Milan, Singapore, Beijing and Fukuoka locations.
The store’s façade takes on an unassuming dark-tiled approach, while the interiors incorporate a minimal aesthetic with a slight post-modern touch. Wooden elements permeate throughout the interiors, adding a touch of warmth against cold metallic shelvings and frames. This is offset with a retro mood, offset by speckled marble columns as well as cream-colored cement walls and flooring. Infusing a touch of color to the space are four Kristen Wentrcek & Andrew Zebulon corner sofa units in a soft earthy green.
Original Story: Stüssy has confirmed that it will be re-opening the doors again to its New York flagship this week.
Originally born from the surf scene in Southern California, Stüssy established a significant presence in New York’s streetwear culture by opening its first store in the early 1990s. Over the years, the brand’s New York stores became iconic destinations for streetwear enthusiasts, offering a mix of signature designs and exclusive collaborations. At the end of 2023, Stüssy closed its former New York flagship store, located at 176 Spring Street in SoHo, marking the end of an era for the brand’s physical presence in the city.
Last October, the brand announced its preparation to open a new permanent flagship in New York City’s Nolita neighborhood. The grand opening of the Stüssy New York Chapter will take place on February 14, 11 a.m. EST. For more updates, keep an eye out on Stüssy’s social platforms.
