Quavo Does It All on "Trappa Rappa"
A return to form for the rapper.
Quavo has shared his first single of the new year. Entitled “Trappa Rappa,” the cut arrives as a return to form for the Migos rapper, who has spent the recent months elevating other artist’s tracks as the featured artist and even dipping his toes into the country space with his most recent single “Georgia Ways” with Teddy Swims and Luke Bryan.
The rapper taps into his Migos flow on the new single, which also comes accompanied with a cinematic spilt-screen music video directed by the rapper’s frequent collaborator Hidji.
Quavo revealed news of the single earlier this week, sharing the confirmed cover art which had fans eager to hear Quavo get back into his rap bag.
“Balenciaga, Bottega and Prada, just took her virginity (Oh) / Pop out, I told her to match my energy, gangsters in the vicinity (Gang) / N*gga we been did the cuban infinity, rappers, they turning into mini-me’s (Yeah) / Switch up the flow, I went triplet, trinity, n*ggas is gonna remember me (Migos),” he asserts on the first verse before diving into the addicting “Trapper / Rapper” chorus.
