Daily Paper "Celebrates Transformative Power" in Its SS25 Collection
Seamlessly blend utility with future facing design cues.
Daily Paper has just presented its latest collection for Spring/Summer 2025.
As a whole, the new collection from the Amsterdam-based imprint encapsulates a theme of “celebrating transformative power.” It strives to transform everyday clothing and accessories into pieces that embody expression and individuality. This is done through Daily Paper’s modern tailoring and symbolic motifs, while each garment is designed to go “beyond functionality.”
The collection starts with a slew of denim pieces including straight-fit denim that take center stage with new and innovative designs. For example, the drop includes lasered denim — designed with black floral patterns or vintage washes — as well as three-stitch monogram shield detailing on the side of the pants. Meanwhile, Daily Paper includes jacquard denim fabrications, complemented with an all-over macramé pattern, which can be found across shorts, jeans, and matching shirts and jackets.
Meanwhile, new knitwear is included in the line-up, featuring botanical prints to elevate the collection’s visual storytelling, as an X-ray effect is used to pay homage to an “expressionist” spirit. Crochet knit detailing is then used to add further texture — and this is seen most prominently on a new football-inspired shirt.
Women’s co-ords then bring a fresh perspective to the collection, with highlights coming as a new corset-strap blazer paired with matching shirts. The black cotton dungaree is also introduced to seamlessly blend utility with future facing design cues. The adjustable straps and structured silhouettes confirm the latter, coming in as a versatile piece that can be mixed and matched with a slew of other summer-inclined options.
