Louis Vuitton Drops Music Tech-Inspired Spring 2025 Accessories
Bringing back music relics like the iPod, cassette player and more.
Since Pharrell Williams joined Louis Vuitton, music motifs are stronger than ever. In the new accessories released for the Spring 2025 season, Louis Vuitton goes back to the past, bringing old music tech artifacts back to center stage. The French house is no stranger to lux-ifying everyday objects and this time, it is reaching into the archives of music players.
The new bag accessories include pieces that take on an iPod-inspired cross-body pochette. The iPod-shaped bag appears to be a mini version of LV’s own Amazone cross body bag. The music player is made of leather but also features a small window that seems to mimic an iPod screen. The screen displays a fully charged power bar, a play button as well as the text “Louis Vuitton Collection Spring 2025” in lieu of the song title. The LV monogram pays homage to the iPod’s scroll wheel and the timestamp on the purse reads “18:54” as a nod to LV’s founding year. The zipper handles are in the form of two gold headphones tied together as the LV monogram rounds out the design.
Other accessories include a wearable wallet in the shape of a cassette player, including the pause/play buttons with the fast forward and rewind ones embossed on the top. Another cassette tape card holder is also available, featuring graphics that showcase a “Side A” and “Side B,” similar to a real cassette tape. The inside also features a headphone graphic with the LV logo for added detailing. The pieces are expected to arrive on March 13. Stay tuned for more information.
