Hennessey Performance has unveiled its most extreme Mustang yet — the SUPER VENOM Mustang, boasting a staggering 850 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. Limited to 91 units globally, the model commemorates the Texas-based company’s founding in 1991.

Building upon Ford’s 5L Coyote V8, Hennessey increases output by 70 percent, incorporating a high-flow induction system, performance supercharger, upgraded fuel injectors and fuel pump, all fine-tuned via Hennessey’s custom engine management system. The result is a 0-60 mph time of 3.2 seconds, with the quarter-mile dispatched in 10.9 seconds at 133 mph — shaving significant time off the Dark Horse Mustang.

Aerodynamics receive a major upgrade with Hennessey’s exclusive ‘VenomAero’ carbon fiber kit, featuring a front splitter, hood vent, side skirts, front fender louvers, rear decklid with an integrated duckbill and a tall rear track wing. Designed to enhance both handling and cooling, the package maximizes performance for road and track use.

“Over the years, we have only branded our most potent cars with our ‘Venom’ trademark,” said John Hennessey, company founder and CEO, adding “The SUPER VENOM Mustang offers supercar performance and can now be ordered directly from Ford dealers with a full warranty.”

The SUPER VENOM Dark Horse starts at $163,950 USD, while the SUPER VENOM GT begins at $149,950 USD, both backed by Ford’s factory warranty plus Hennessey’s three-year/36,000-mile coverage. Customers can choose from black, silver, or red ‘91 Icon’ liveries, further distinguishing this special edition. Production is already underway at Hennessey’s Sealy, Texas HQ, with orders available via authorized Ford dealers or directly through Hennessey Performance’s official site.
