RAINS SS25 Debuts Suva Waterproof Fabric

RAINS debuts Suva, a groundbreaking waterproof fabric concept in its Spring/Summer 2025 collection. This launch marks a major milestone for the Danish lifestyle brand, introducing a new material to its renowned rainwear lineup for the first time. The Suva collection features breathable hardshell jackets and pants designed to seamlessly merge functionality with contemporary aesthetics, making them ideal for urban environments.

Staying true to RAINS’ signature approach, the Suva fabric is a soft, lightweight three-layer (3L) material with a matte finish, offering a perfect balance of breathability, comfort and durability. Its mechanical stretch ensures ease of movement, while waterproof and windproof properties provide optimal protection against the elements.

Spotlighted in the range, the Suva Hardshell Jacket is crafted from its namesake innovative fabric and features waterproof taped seams, a coated zip closure and an adjustable drawstring hood. Available in multiple silhouettes – including standard fit, standard with chest pockets, long and short anorak styles – each design incorporates a rubberized branding detail, adding a subtle yet striking contrast to its minimalistic aesthetic.

Completing the collection, the Suva Hardshell Pant delivers both style and performance. Made from the same lightweight, matte-finish 3L fabric, the pants come in regular and wide-leg styles. Key details include a zip fly closure, an elasticated back waistband for added comfort and a rubberized branding detail that ties the look together.
