Japanese streetwear brand WTAPS, known for its collaborations with New Balance, including models such as the 992, 990v2 and 990v6, is back with another partnership. This time, they introduce a military gear-inspired New Balance ABZORB 2010, featuring WTAPS’ signature color scheme.
Following the design cues of previous WTAPS x New Balance collaborations, the new model comes in a monochrome upper in a militaristic palette. It combines light green suede overlays with sage leather underlays and a matching mesh base to create a harmonious, layered neutral green aesthetic. Subtle WTAPS branding can be found on the heel, lateral side and insole. A standout feature of this collaboration is the bright neon green ABZORB cushioning in the midsole, which adds a vibrant touch and elevates the overall design.
