Dolomite, Nnormal, and More Join Vibram’s Global Footwear Initiative
They have one message: “Repair If You Care.”
Vibram has always been synonymous with durability and long-lasting performance, but what happens when your footwear eventually breaks or wears away? The answer is in the brand’s “Repair If You Care” initiative.
Launched in 2021, the global project aims to actively encourage consumers to repair, upcycle, or repurpose their shoes in an effort to extend wearability. As well as raising awareness around footwear care, Vibram has undertaken several collaborations that have brought it closer to independent businesses with interactive websites like its Cobbler Locator map.
Now, the brand expands the project by welcoming its partner labels to join in on the cause. Included in the line-up is motorsport brand Dainese, which will be promoting its in-house repair service for leather goods and sole restoration. Meanwhile, outdoor labels Dolomite, Nnormal, and Tecnica will utilize Vibram technologies to offer their customers resole services.
Through widening the network, “Repair If You Care” hopes to reach more athletes, professional tradesmen, and even casual sneaker lovers who wear Vibram daily.
