Just ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival in Asia, Tudor unveils the 1926 Luna trio — its first-ever moonphase wristwatch. For this release, the Maison called on acclaimed singer-songwriter and actor Jay Chou to lend his creative vision.
Encased in polished 39mm stainless steel, each timepiece features a domed dial in deep black, rich blue or a bespoke champagne hue conceived by Chou. Faceted arrow-head hour markers, applied even-numbered Arabic numerals and matching sword-shaped hands accentuate the vintage-inspired design. At 6 o’clock, a gold “phantom moonlight” disc emerges from an inky aperture to track the lunar cycle, driven by the chronometer-certified, self-winding Calibre T607-9. A polished-and-satin-brushed steel bracelet completes the refined profile.
True to Hans Wilsdorf’s “Born To Dare” ethos, the 1926 Luna is water resistant to 100 meters thanks to its screw-down crown and caseback. Its finely decorated movement adheres to the highest chronometry standards, while the robust steel construction and meticulous finishing underscore Tudor’s unwavering commitment to quality.
