Summary

  • ICECREAM and Bronze 56K have launched a seven-piece collection blending luxury and skate culture, drawing inspiration from jewelry and hardware.
  • The collection, available at bbcicecream.com, includes a hoodie, carpenter pants, a beanie, three tees, and a skate deck.

ICECREAM and Bronze 56K have launched a new seven-piece capsule collection that draws a throughline between ICECREAM’s jewelry and Bronze’s skate hardware. From the high-end, represented by NIGO‘s bejeweled chains, to the streets, represented by Bronze’s deck nail motif, the collection bridges recognizable ICECREAM motifs with Bronze’s hardware-driven ethos.

The collection is led by a full-zip hoodie and matching carpenter pants with an all-over “nuts-and-bolts” print for a head-to-toe look. The collaborators have also created a set of three graphic tees, each with a distinct design. Standing out is a trompe l’oeil print of NIGO’s ICECREAM chains, also featured on a matching skate deck. Elsewhere, a hand-illustrated Bronze sundae graphic nods to ICECREAM with a green running dog on the backside, while a rusticated version of the dog insignia appears on a black Bronze 56K tee. For accessories, a black rhinestoned beanie echoes the iced chains seen in the special deck and t-shirt.

Established by Pharrell and NIGO in 2004, ICECREAM originated as a skate footwear extension of their brand Billionaire Boys Club. ICECREAM shifted the tone of skatewear with its flamboyant graphics, including the iconic running dog, and its association with the bold style of its celebrity founders. Meanwhile, skate brand Bronze 56K built its following on the street culture of New York City beginning in 2011. The brand name is a nostalgic nod to the 56k dial-up modem, reflecting the feel of their lo-fi-inspired graphics and videos.

The BBC ICECREAM x Bronze 56K collection is available now exclusively at bbcicecream.com.
