Guram Gvasalia‘s VETEMENTS showcase is always one to remember, each runway almost guaranteed to feature a familiar face. Last September, Travis Scott opened the show. Anok Yai has walked multiple VETEMENTS runways, this season marking her second Spring/Summer show as the runway’s closing bride, with Cara Delevingne also making her first-ever appearance on the VETEMENTS runway. A brand so plugged into the music zeitgeist, it only makes sense that one of the biggest global rappers walks the same runway as two of the biggest models in the world; this SS26 season, Yeat made his runway debut on the VETEMENTS runway in the label’s 6-9 jersey.

Music’s A-List in the YSL FROW

Anthony Vaccarello knows how to curate a truly artful front row. This season’s Yves Saint Laurent show saw a starry slate of musicians scattered about the FROW, including Charli XCX, Rosé, Role Model, Peggy Gou, Central Cee, Teyana Taylor, and Honey Dijon.

Robyn Soundtracks the Acne Studios Show, Premiering New Yung Lean Collab Cut

Set in the 13th-century Gothic church Collège des Bernardins, the Acne Studios showcase stomped to the tune of rebellion, soundtracked by one of the best playlists of the month. Led by Robyn, the soundtrack included the Swedish pop legend’s tracks “Fembot” and “Robotboy,” the latter a remix with a verse by Yung Lean. “When Jonatan sings ‘Robotboy,’ it’s like he is singing to himself, serenading an old version of himself,” Robyn told Dazed, calling Lean a “kindred spirit.” “The song feels like it was made for him, not me.” She also speaks of the “unexpected dialogue” between the music and the clothes. “I hadn’t seen them, and Acne hadn’t heard the music beforehand, but they both question and celebrate the typical idea of female identity. It was fun and interesting to hear my lyrics in this context.”

AG Cook’s Original Alexander McQueen Score

Known to collaborate with musicians often, Alexander McQueen tapped another A-lister to score the Spring/Summer 2026 show. For the Parisian womenswear presentation, A.G. Cook offered a primal, bass-pounding soundscape, mirroring the energy of the collection’s primary inspiration, cult folk horror film, The Wicker Man. The show notes describe Cook’s curation as “A tension between unsettling and uplifting, transitioning between acoustic and synthesised. Cinematic, layering expansive elemental-inspired sounds – water, earth, and fire – and syncopated techno beats. A folkloric, Anglo-Saxon, and urbane score, pounding towards dreamlike release.”

Anyma Soundtracks VETEMENTS Runway

The post-apocalyptic showcase came accompanied by a pounding techno soundtrack, entirely created by Anyma and Chris Avantgarde specifically for the show. The soundtrack clocks in at 13 minutes and is now streaming on Apple Music, formally titled “DOGS † VETEMENTS SS26 SHOW.”

Margiela’s Mini-Orchestra

Glenn Martens’ debut Maison Margiela ready-to-wear show did not miss. An orchestra of 61 young musicians sat in the corner, suited up to deliver a captivating (and, at times, chaotic) orchestral performance to accompany the runway presentation. The orchestra’s musicians ranged from ages seven to 15, and donned oversized Margiela tuxedos. The selection of songs spanned a medley of classical pieces by Mozart, Bizet, Strauss, Beethoven, and Prokofiev.

Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter Reconnects with Anrealage

Thomas Bangalter took the Anrealage Paris runway to whole new heights. The former Daft Punk member has teamed up with the future-facing label before, first soundtracking the house’s Fall/Winter 2025 “SCREEN” Paris runway show.
