Jordan Brand introduced the Air Jordan 40 back in July, declaring that its colorways would all feature unique uppers. Since then, it’s held its word, offering a mix of premium compositions and pairs dedicated to previous Air Jordans. We first spotted an Air Jordan 1-themed version of the shoe with a Swoosh on it. Now, a sheath-equipped take nodding to the Air Jordan 16 is joined by this new Air Jordan 23 “Black Stealth”-inspired pair.
Dubbed the “4023 Stealth,” this version of the Air Jordan 40 pays homage to the 2008 classic. A recreation of the colorway’s white and red stitched upper appears at the midfoot panel, with black covering the remainder of the upper, save for the two tongues’ silver “23” and Jumpman logo. Red Nike Air branding can be spotted at the heel while the outsole favors an icy finish to complete the design.
At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has not indicated when this “4023 Stealth” colorway of the Air Jordan 40 will be dropping.
