WIND AND SEA Links With Audio-Technica For Debut Collaboration
Led by a modernized version of the popular Sound Burger portable turntable.
WIND AND SEA and renowned audio equipment brand Audio-Technica for a collaborative collection.
The debut capsule from the two Japanese brands is led by the Sound Burger AT-SB727 WS, an updated edition of Audio-Technica’s popular portable turntable. The modernized model is built with Bluetooth connection and USB charging and features a design that incorporates the image of city pop — a pillar in the music scene of the ’80s when the first Sound Burger was released. Inspired by the equipment of the decade, the turntable arrives with a silver body, a metallic aurora hologram and the primary color lines representing the brilliance of a mirror ball.
Also joining the collection are a multi-purpose record bag for carrying needs, and apparel including a co-branded track jacket, sweatshirt and T-shirt in black to resemble the traditional color of a vinyl LP.
