'Kaiju No. 8' Enters the Ever-Expanding World of 'Fortnite'
Featuring Reno Ichikawa, Kikoru Shinomiya and Kafka Hibino alongside thematic accessories.
When it comes to video game collaborations, Epic Games created the blueprint for effective partnerships with Fortnite. For the past seven years, the game has evolved by featuring iconic characters, celebrities and even footwear. Its ever-expanding universe has grown a tad bigger this week as it has welcomed Kaiju No. 8 into the fray. The manga was adapted into an anime that aired its first season last year and has a second season on the way this summer.
Fortnite welcomed Godzilla into the game earlier this month, making the timing of this new Kaiju No. 8 team-up perfect. The range of cosmetics includes outfit styles featuring Reno Ichikawa, Kikoru Shinomiya and Kafka Hibino, as well as a range of accessories. These begin with Reno’s Gearbag and Kikoru’s Scaled Slingbag while also including Kikoru’s Personal Weapon, Kaiju No. 8’s Scythe, Freezing Round Axes, the Cracked Mask, Kaiju No. 8 Wrap and a Spirit of the Kaiju emote.
The entire lineup of Kaiju No. 8-themed items is available for purchase in Fortnite now. It costs 7,700 V-Bucks to obtain all 11 items, however, they can all be purchased via the Kaiju No. 8 Bundle for a total of 3,800 V-Bucks.
