‘Kaiju No. 8’ Season 2 To Release in Summer 2025

TOHO Animation has provided new updates on Season 2 of Kaiju No.8, confirming that the next installment of the highly-anticipated anime will officially premiere in 2025, summertime.
A new trailer for Kaiju No. 8’s Season 1 compilation film andHoshina’s Day Off - an upcoming special episode was revealed alongside a new teaser visual at the Jump Fest 2025 event over the weekend.
The brand-new teaser visual spotlights Gen Narumi, the First Division Captain of the Defense Force, with the tagline “Proof of being the strongest” unveiled, building anticipation for the upcoming season.
Theaters in Japan will host a three-week run for the anime’s Season 1 compilation film as well as the special episode starting on March 28, 2025. In addition to that, the new trailer also previews “Invincible,” the anime’s new theme song by OneRepublic.
Kaiju No.8 Season 2 is confirmed to release in July 2025.
