Prada Redefines Sustainable Luxury with its 2025 Re-Nylon Collection
Accompanied by a captivating documentary film featuring Benedict Cumberbatch.

Prada continues to redefine sustainable luxury with the release of its 2025 Re-Nylon Collection, an ambitious initiative that transforms plastic waste from oceans and landfills into regenerated nylon. This collection is a shining example of Prada’s unwavering commitment to environmental responsibility and innovation.
In collaboration with National Geographic CreativeWorks, Prada has unveiled its third series of films highlighting the origins and impact of the Re-Nylon initiative. Featuring acclaimed actors Benedict Cumberbatch and Sadie Sink, alongside SEA BEYOND ambassadors Valentina Gottlieb and Giovanni Chimienti, the documentaries explore the global issue of marine pollution and Prada’s pioneering solutions to address it.
The Re-Nylon line is crafted from Econyl, a regenerated nylon made from recycled plastic waste, embodying Prada’s ethos of circular fashion. By reducing reliance on virgin materials, this process sets a new standard for sustainability in the luxury sector.
The collection offers 191 thoughtfully designed pieces that combine Prada’s signature minimalism with contemporary sophistication. Standout items include the Re-Nylon bucket hat, Saffiano leather backpack and duffle bag, predominantly presented in sleek black adorned with Prada’s iconic logo. Two unique pieces break the mold with vibrant hues like “Bottle Green” and “Aviator Blue,” adding a refreshing pop of color to the timeless lineup. This collection not only appeals to environmentally conscious consumers but also underscores Prada’s ability to blend cutting-edge innovation with timeless style.
The 2025 Re-Nylon Collection is now available on Prada’s webstore.
