Mazda Unveils Euro Spec MAZDA6e
A new EV based on the MAZDA EZ-6, expected to go on sale in Europe this summer.


Mazda has announced the debut of the MAZDA6e, its latest all-electric sedan, at the Brussels Motor Show 2025. Tailored for European customers, the MAZDA6e is set to hit showrooms this summer, combining Mazda’s craftsmanship with modern EV tech.
Inspired by and built on the foundation of the MAZDA EZ-6, which debuted in Beijing last year, the MAZDA6e is designed to provide optionality as Europe turns towards electrification. Developed in partnership with Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd., a collaborator of 20 years, the sedan offers a blend of design, driving performance and smart functionality.
The MAZDA6e features sleek coupe-inspired styling, measuring 193.7 inches long, 74.4 inches wide and 58.7 inches high, with a wheelbase of 114 inches. Its minimalist design complements the modern aesthetics of an EV while ensuring a dynamic and engaging driving experience. With battery capacities of 80 kWh and 68.8 kWh, the MAZDA6e offers a ranges of up to 343 miles and 298 miles, respectively.
Inside the cabin, drivers will find advanced smart technologies, including voice, touch and gesture controls, along with intelligent driver-assistance systems aimed at enhancing safety and convenience. The car’s braking and handling are tuned for precision, embodying Mazda’s philosophy of creating a harmonious connection between car and driver.
Specifics on pricing for the European market have yet to be shared at the time of writing.
