OAMC FW25 Is All About Mixing and Matching
Where past meets present and mohair meets military.
OAMC is playing by its own rules for its Fall/Winter 2025 collection. Influenced by 1980s club culture, the latest in-line release from the label is a striking masterclass in mixing and matching materials and style codes, arriving as a mélange of mohair knitwear, military-inspired pieces and more avant-garde pairings to evoke a more “experimental” vibe.
This season’s acronym stands for “Objective and Meticulously Curious,” a sentiment that shines through the intentionally innovative range. In attempt to convey the energy of a time period in which “individuals made a deliberate effort to stand out and express their uniqueness,” the collection does just that, combining tropes from past and present to offer up a pretty solid pitch for the bold future of menswear.
A hand-painted silver leather trenchcoat stands out at the core of the collection, taking an almost holographic look and defined by a high neckline and structured sleeves.
Black suiting comes embellished with pointed sleeve cuffs, knits are doused in bright shades of red and crochet embroidered shirts come complete with wool panel inserts.
The collection – fully made and developed in Italy – is primarily crafted from all-natural materials, with Shetland wool and wool mohair marking high points and a strong focus on bringing artisanal craftsmanship into the contemporary scene.
