Christopher Ward Reimagines the Classic Field Watch in New C65 Dune Aeolian Collection

British watch brand Christopher Ward has unveiled the C65 Dune Aeolian Collection, its first release this year and a launch that infuses modern twists to the classic field watch.

Inspired by the aeolian sand patterns of the Dune du Pilat in France, the timepieces feature textured dials in an array of refreshing hues and case materials. Replacing the now-discontinued Dune models from Christopher Ward’s debut series, the C65 Dune Aeolian Collection consists of three distinct models: the C65 Dune Aeolian Automatic, Dune Aeolian Bronze COSC and Dune Aeolian GMT.

Available in Silica grey, Eve blue, Marram green and White Sand, the C65 Dune Aeolian Automatic comes in a 38mm stainless steel casing and is priced between $895 – $1,096 USD. Encased in bronze alloy, the C65 Dune Aeolian Bronze COSC is offered in Dusk brown and Marram green and is intended to patina over time, making every piece unique to its owners. The bronze version is priced at $1,165 USD on the Vintage Oak Leather strap and $1,550 USD on the Bronze Bader bracelet.

Last but not least, the C65 Dune Aeolian GMT offers dual-time functionality and a distinctive raised outer ring design. Available in White Sand and Eve blue, this model has a starting price $1,165 USD on a canvas strap. Meanwhile, its price can go up to $1,365 USD on a Bader bracelet.

Each model in the C65 Dune Aeolian Collection is powered by Sellita movements, visible through sapphire casebacks and offers water resistance up to 150 meters. All aforementioned models are currently available via Christopher Ward’s webstore and authorized retailers.
