Update: We now have an official look at this “Bred” rendition of the Nike Air Max TL 2.5 courtesy of the Swoosh. As described in our initial preview below, the pair combines black and red across its upper as silver accents bring additional detailing to its sleek linework. Release for this pair has not yet been announced, however, look out for it to arrive sometime in the next few months via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $180 USD as Nike continues to present additional pairs of the throwback runner.

Original Story: Looking back at 2024, the Nike Air Max TL 2.5 was one of several key silhouettes that Nike reintroduced to sneakerheads. It did so by starting with a CDG HOMME PLUS collaboration and following it up with retro and modern looks. As the sneaker continues to adopt new color schemes, it now sports a familiar “Bred” composition.

Kicking off this “Bred” take on the Air Max TL 2.5, the pair sees a red layer of its upper covered by linework that hosts both black and silver detailing. From there, a red Swoosh with a black outline is positioned at the midfoot while the uppermost portion combines a mesh black with strips of silver. Subtle red notes are also delivered via the “MAX AIR” branding at the lacing system, the toe’s mini Swoosh and the heel branding. As for the sole, it starts in black and showcases red within its Air unit.

At the time of writing, Nike has not yet indicated when this “Bred” iteration of the Air Max TL 2.5 will be dropping. Stay tuned for updates, including official imagery of the kicks, as we currently forecast it to drop in the coming months via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $180 USD.
