Rae Hersey Connects With Atlanta’s Most Fashionable for Styling Tips

Rae Hersey brings her own unique flair to New York City’s streets as she often shapeshifts between style sensibilities. As a fashion and vintage lover, she hosts a few social series, including “Vintage in the City” and “All the Angles.” Much like the streets of Atlanta are dynamic and full of different personalities, Hersey dips into different sides of her own sartorial style.

Tagging along with Monster Energy Ultra, Hersey brought her expressive aura to the ATL, visiting colorful neighborhoods like Little Five Points to interview locals about their personal summer style and some clever styling tips. Since the Monster Energy Ultra Peachy Keen and Strawberry Dreams flavors are inspired by bright, summer days, Hersey decided to stroll through some busy parks on a sunny day.

Focusing on the diverse style codes that make up Atlanta, Hersey talked to young fashion enthusiasts about how they inject their unique personas into their outfits. Most of those stopped by Rae revealed their vintage finds while some dropped label names like Steve Madden, Stussy, adidas and more. When asked about their favorite places to shop in the city, spots like Wish, Drugstore Atlanta, Clothing Warehouse and Repeat made the cut. And when Hersey inquired about their most regrettable fashion era, one interviewee said, “zebra print leggings,” but another passerby offered “definitely go with your gut” as a styling tip. “Everybody can just wear what they want to wear, and as long as they feel comfortable in it, that’s all that really matters,” she added.
