British designer Daniel Lee will debut his fourth runway collection at the helm of Burberry on Monday afternoon, hosting the occasion at London’s National Theatre for the first time. Scheduled on the final day of London Fashion Week, Burberry’s Summer 2025 showcase will continue to expand Lee’s limitless vision for the brand, and the runway’s set design will not disappoint.

Burberry will collaborate with English artist Gary Hume to create an original set design inside the National Theatre. Inspired by his abstract artwork and Bays painting exhibit presented in 1990, the set will feature splashes of color and mimic the painting in grandiose form. While recently presenting Bays for the first time in decades, Hume’s artwork has made him a known face in the modernist art scene. Burberry’s new relationship with Hume proves the brand’s commitment to championing young and established artists in the UK, having previously worked with Sarah Lucas and John Akomfrah.

“When Daniel approached me for this collaboration, I was surprised he was even aware of the Bays installation, as it was work I made a long time ago that hasn’t been seen much. It’s such an honor to work with him on this show and design the set for such an iconic brand at an iconic venue,” says Hume.

Burberry’s Summer 2025 collection will be shown on September 16 at 4:00 p.m. BST inside the National Theatre in London.
