London Fashion Week SS25 Street Style
The motocross trend holds strong complementing athletic and relaxed silhouettes.
The Spring/Summer 2025 womenswear fashion week season is officially in full force and Hypebeast was on the ground in London earlier this week to capture some of the best street style looks. London Fashion Week showed out with ample transitional pieces and styling. Brands like JW Anderson, Simone Rocha, Burberry and Skepta’s MAINS continued to bring the crowds throughout the British capital.
Over the years, street style silhouettes have seen a gradual shift towards combining conventional semi-formal and formal stylings with athletic-focused pieces. London Fashion Week saw football jerseys as popular choices, where fans of the sport and premium luxe brands alike, leaned into the sports-inspired aesthetic. Martine Rose jerseys make an appearance, alongside more socially motivated ones and team-focused jerseys. Modern suiting is also defined by oversized and cropped blazers, as well layering of suit jackets over accenting neckties. Vintage-inspired aged leather pants or overcoats are a nod to the on-going retro grunge trend, contrasting the prep look, often perpetuated by Burberry and JW Anderson’s soft boy aesthetic.
Comfort continue to takes precedent, with many wearing teddy-coat hoodies and jackets. Baggy denim pants and trousers were strong contenders along with box-cut motocross-themed leather jackets. Fit for the fall season, showgoers brought out their best outerwear for LFW, bringing back the exaggerated shoulders and lapels for their overcoat selections. Take a look at some of the best street style looks we captured during London Fashion Week SS25.
