LEGO 'Star Wars' Unveils $500 USD UCS Jabba's Sail Barge
Featuring iconic characters such as Princess Leia, Max Rebo, Salacious B. Crumb and, of course, Jabba the Hutt.
As 2024 nears its final quarter of the year, LEGO Star Wars is rounding out its release lineup by dropping its annual October Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) set. Rumored as a set since early February of 2023, the brand has unveiled that a UCS Jabba’s Sail Barge will finally be releasing.
At last, we have a complete visualization and description of what to expect from this massive recreation of Jabba the Hutt’s dune-cruising vessel. Not only does it feature 3,942 pieces that masterfully replicate the look of the Khetanna, but it also includes 11 minifigures. This exciting lineup of characters features C-3PO, Bib Fortuna, Wooof, Max Rebo, Kithaba, Princess Leia in her Huttslayer outfit, a Gamorrean Guard, Vizam, R2-D2 with a bar table accessory, Salacious B. Crumb and, of course, the notorious Jabba the Hutt. Looking again at the 31-inch ship, it has a complete interior that features everything from an entertainment room with Jabba’s bed to a prison cell.
For those interested in picking up the new LEGO Star Wars UCS Jabba’s Sail Barge set, it is scheduled to release on October 6 via LEGO at a price of $500 USD. However, LEGO Insiders — those enrolled in the brand’s free loyalty program — will be able to shop the set starting on October 3. Those who do purchase it during this window before the general release will be given a free gift with purchase — LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber set 40730, which fittingly features his lightsaber from Return of the Jedi. This set continues the lightsaber series of gift with purchases that have released alongside large UCS sets in recent years and have not been made available via any other method yet, making them highly sought-after.
