Porsche Celebrates Korean Culture With Taycan Turbo “K-Edition”
Available in five exclusive colors.
In celebration of its 10th anniversary in Korea, Porsche has unveiled the Taycan Turbo K-Edition, a limited-edition model exclusively available in the Korean market. The special edition draws inspiration from Korean culture, blending traditional design elements with Porsche’s renowned performance and luxury.
Holger Gerrmann, CEO of Porsche Korea, highlighted the significance of this model, stating, “The Taycan Turbo K-Edition is a testament to the deep connection between Porsche and Korean culture. It showcases the extensive customization possibilities through the Sonderwunsch program.”
The Taycan Turbo K-Edition stands out with unique features like a custom logo based on a historical Korean royal stamp and a skyline graphic that incorporates elements of Korean cities, traditional hanok houses and the Baekdu-daegan mountain range. These intricate designs are integrated into both the exterior and interior of the vehicle, adding to its exclusivity.
Powered by the upgraded Model Year 2024 Taycan, the K-Edition boasts up to 650 kW (884 hp) with Launch Control, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds. The model also offers improved range and faster charging capabilities, making it as powerful as it is aesthetically refined.
The exterior of the K-Edition is available in five exclusive colors, each matched with meticulously crafted interior details. The cabin features a luxurious Olea club leather interior with a three-color-block design on the seats, hand-crafted cross-stitching and a host of other bespoke touches that reflect the car’s Korean inspiration.
At the time of writing, specific details on pricing and availability for the Taycan Turbo K-Edition have not yet been announced.
