Rick Owens DRKSHDW FW24 "Porterville" Drop 1 Lands on HBX
Featuring sneakers, long-sleeve-tees to an array of jeans and pants.
Rick Owens DRKSHDW has released the first drop of its “Porterville” Fall/Winter 2024 range on HBX.
Named after Owens’ home city in California, the collection reflects Porterville’s spirit in garment form while serving as the designer’s manifestation of an eternal utopia from his troubled childhood. Themes of longing, aching, and disappointment become the core ingredients of the lineup, with the first drop delivering a range of tank tops, long-sleeve-tees, shorts, jeans pants and sneakers.
While most of the collection features a predominantly gray and monochromatic palette, the Bolan Banana in Ochre Foil Stretch Denim Jeans stands out with its eye-catching hue. This high-waisted and slim-fitting jean boasts a floor-length boot cut and is integrated with unique zipper structures — the zippers on the legs reveal a lighter-colored flared panel, while another sits across the hip and butt area for an edgy twist.
Aside from apparel, the new delivery also includes four different DRKSHDW sneakers, spanning a Hexa High-Top, a Vintage High, Low, and Vintage. All models are crafted with medium-weight over-dyed denim, coming in a “Black/Milk” colorway. The Hexa High model also features the line’s emblematic single-lined star embroidery, meanwhile, the Vintage High variant incorporates velour suede into its upper.
Prices go between $225 – $1,480 USD, the first drop of Rick Owens DRKSHDW’s FW4 collection is currently available to shop on HBX.
