Travis Scott – DAYS BEFORE RODEO (10th Anniversary)
A decade after its initial release, Travis Scott’s pivotal DAYS BEFORE RODEO album has landed on streaming services. A move that many thought La Flame might never make, the rapper has put his sophomore mixtape – which first dropped for free on August 18, 2014 – on Spotify, Apple Music and all other major DSPs. The 12-track offering surfaces in its original form, featuring tracks like “Drugs You Should Try It,” “Don’t Play,” “Mamacita,” with Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan, “Skyfall” – also with Thugger, and “Backyard.” He also took the DBR universe one step further, expanding the project on its “digital deluxe edition” with five new songs from the vault. Available solely on Scott’s website, the expanded version features “Mo City Flexologist,” “Too Many Chances,” “Yeah Yeah” (with Young Thug), “Serenade”, and “Whole Lots Changed.”

Cash Cobain – PLAY CASH COBAIN
A critical player in setting the tone of summer 2024 – ensuring it was a slizzy one, that is – Cash Cobain is ready to introduce himself. On his debut LP, dubbed PLAY CASH COBAIN, the New York City-based sexy-drill producer proves he has a long-term vision, offering the first studio long-form look at his distinct yet dynamic sound. The 19-track delivery consists of Cash’s standout singles from recent months, “fisherrr” with Bay Swag, “rump punch” and “dunk contest,” as well.

Jessie Reyez x Lil Wayne – “RIDIN”
Jessie Reyez has enlisted the likes of a handful of major collaborators, including Big Sean, Daniel Caesar and 6lack. Her second single of the year “RIDIN” sees Reyez link up with Lil Wayne for a masterful melding of minds. The two have joined hands before – on Weezy’s “Love You F*ck You” off of Funeral’s deluxe edition – and their chemistry hasn’t faded one bit.

Doechii – “BOOM BAP”
Just because her album is dropping next week does not mean Doechii is sleeping on her Swamp Session series. The rapper unleashed her latest and final freestyle cut, “Boom Bap,” which is set to appear on Alligator Bites Never Heal. “Can we do one last Swamp Session before the mixtape drops? I don’t usually give my haters any press but this one is for you… CHOKE,” she wrote of the cut.

Mk.gee – “Lonely Fight”
Mk.gee’s first single since Two Star & The Dream Police has surfaced. Entitled “Lonely Fight,” the track is one that Mk.gee teased while on the road. After dropping the acclaimed album back in February, Mk.gee played a small run of shows – which he’s now extended to a full-length world tour in the fall.

Jaylen Brown x A$AP FERG – “Just Do It”
I bet this collab wasn’t on your 2024 bingo card – and it wasn’t on Jaylen Brown’s either. “We had so much fun making this video trust me this was not on my bingo card,” he wrote of his first foray into the music ether – a track with A$AP Ferg dubbed “Just Do It” – on Instagram. The Boston baller proves he can hold his own on the nearly four-minute track, which also comes equipped with a cinematic music video starring both artists.

Mura Masa – Curve 1
After announcing the project earlier this month, Mura Masa’s Curve 1 has materialized. His first project as an independent artist, Curve 1 is heavily influenced by the DJ’s personal life. “Curve 1 is ultimately a manifestation of an attitude I’ve been cultivating in my personal life: ignore everything. All the content, all of the attention economy, all of it,” he said in a statement. “Music as entertainment has in many cases, to me, become very advertorial and excessively sentimental in terms of creating a narrative around albums and artists. I wanted to strip this away as much as possible to leave room for the music to create its own meaning in the lives of people who form connections with it.”
