Ahead of the NFL Kickoff next month, New Era has joined forces with the football league for its Fall/Winter 2024 collection. Curated and creative-directed by BMX athlete Nigel Sylvester, the line’s accompanying campaign, titled “Forever New York,” is inspired by his own community in the city, with many of his notable comrades posing in the fresh apparel lineup.
The sartorial delivery stars Harlem rapper Dave East, Queens native and jeweller Greg Yuna and radio producer Scottie Beam, among several others. Given the “Forever New York” theme, the campaign makes nods to the New York Giants and the New York Jets, though the full collection represents all 32 teams.
“Creative freedom to push the boundaries of sport, art, and fashion has inspired me for years throughout my journey as an unconventional athlete in the world of sport,” said Sylvester, who first connected with the brand in 2017 for a New York Mets line. “As a creative advisor for this campaign, I personally selected these individuals for what they represent and for their deep connection and impact in their respective communities here in the city.”
The collection, which includes an expansive lineup of team-inspired hoodies, T-shirts and hats, is now available to shop on New Era’s webstore. Explore the campaign in the gallery above.
